It’s The Fun Time of the Year, Anniversary Date of Wrongful Imprisonment and Torture

I was wrongfully arrested six years ago last weekend which caused my cat to be harmed (eventually I had to put her to sleep), my property to be damaged and stolen, myself to be homeless and I was tortured in the prison system. I told Judge Murphy in Homer my cat and property needed to be secured to protect them from Robin Hume and she said “absolutely not” when I asked to go do this. When I said, “that is bullshit” because I am completely innocent, Robin Hume did this, she was outraged,  because words they don’t like are very evil and they have to prioritize their time, so fuck due process.  I had gone to great effort to prevent the property of Robin Hume from being damaged and stolen by people who were clearly cooking meth and was strangely lied to by the owners Robin and Steve Hume that they were not receiving the emails which included pictures of strangeness, filth and damage, could not get the Alaska State Troopers to do anything, yet I was the one arrested…wrongfully, incompetently and with several players working together to plan it, both psychopaths at the lodge and state employees. Public defenders, a prosecutor and perhaps state troopers were waiting for something, anything they could use to retaliate against me. Troopers destroyed evidence and several of them lied all the way up the chain of command. Then later a state trooper, Pellapeare would not allow me to get my property with a court order to go to the lodge, was very nasty to me, THE VICTIM of Robin Hume, Steve Hume, the public defender agency, Judge Ben Esch, the Alaska State Troopers, DA John Earthman and threatened to arrest ME for disorderly conduct when I expressed my anger and desire to call a lawyer about his abuse and sabotage. As with all of this I always have to wonder just who may have communicated with him prior to this incident to influence his opinion of me.

I wrote a fifty page letter to Sarah Palin about my whole story which I also sent to some legislators and got no response. (Part one, part two, part three, part four, part five, part six), along with many emails which DID NOT SHOW UP in the PALIN EMAIL DUMPS.When I sent a copy of the fifty page letter to the ombudsman she angrily wanted to know what she was supposed to do with it. I had a thought, but did not express it.

This year on the anniversary date I am having significant triggering of my PTSD, there are several reasons other than it being the anniversary date of a trauma, not all of it negative, some of it informational, some of it made me laugh and some of it made me proud. There are some new events that help prove part of my story. I have learned about myself through all of this. I know I am strong, intelligent, have courage, have ethics, am resilient and one thing for sure I am still the little boy who couldn’t see the emperor’s new clothing. Just as a psychologist told me many years ago, these qualities upset many people. Psychopaths and bullies hate people like me and plot to take us out, discredit us,

sabotage us, and spread lies about us because we are a danger to them, we spew truth. Just like we see on a national level with whistleblowers being attacked rather than thanked those who do wrong have networks within which they assist each other to stop the truth of their activities from being told on many levels, from communities, to law enforcement, in the court systems, state  agencies, and among politicians. I am grateful not to be like them, every grateful. When I read about one of the players in my story I say out loud, "I am so glad I am not you." I am proud that these people don't like me and seek to harm me and when they come after me it tells me who I am.

The abuse at the apartments where I live went on for a very long time, there is much corroboration by other tenants, but I was the main target. Some of the problems continue, one has exacerbated. All the responsible parties do not do their jobs, except we got a new maintenance man who not only knows what he is doing, but does his work, now the heck did he get hired? They bullied him of course. There are still huge issues and I will be filing a court case. The problems I have had with them may have more to do with one of the players being a retired cop and a problem causing tenant whose son works for the Department of Probation than anything. I became very ill, then fell and had a head injury on top of the PTSD and ME/CFS brain fog. This fall was due to a flare up of POTS which is part of ME/CFS and a direct result of the stress they put me through. There is just no excuse for the assholery that goes on here, I will be telling this story. The head aches were horrible and I don’t have access to competent health care.

Working on my legal cases had to be put on hold to work on getting healthier. I have done so on Dr. Terry Wahl‘s diet, other nutritional magic and my own exercise plan I designed for ME/CFS. I read Dr. Wahl's book Minding My Mitochondria and await the new one, The Wahl's Protocl. She has MS which has similarities to ME/CFS.

 For a long time I could not do my art, sewing or crafts because Robin Hume stole much of my art supplies, sewing machine and destroyed craft supplies etc. It was hard to even think about it and doing these activities traumatized me. I am working on a hand appliquéd quilt and even managed to injure myself quilting because that is just how spastic I am, I make sock monkeys, other toys, sew, do bead work, etc. So, I have that back which indicates some healing from the PTSD, but it has taken a long time and it is not the same, nothing ever will be.

Lots of time is spent working on two legal cases now. I obtained a FOIA request from the public defender agency of my “file” a couple years ago after three requests and of course  getting pissed to get them to comply. The file was very sanitized which is a common practice of lawyers, but it is MY file which should have all the information, it does not. Quinlan Steiner the director of the agency wrote in the letter that came with it that was all I was entitled to. It is clear I did not get all of the emails as some have re: Harrison, re: Harrison, re: Harrison, re: Harrison, etc. in the title and there are no corresponding emails. None of my emails were in the Sarah Palin email dumps either. What don’t they want me or others to see?

The ones I did get are however very revealing. The file has many documents from other people’s cases, research that has nothing to do with my case, notes about supplies and even letters one of them was writing to their penpal which gives us an idea of what went on in the process of working my case. Remember one of them was stunned that I wanted them to put together a defense since she had worked on my case for three hours. I guess it was cutting into her penpal time. Then there were multiple copies of the same documents over and over and over, you know so it looked like I actually got my file. This demonstrates the cluster that I complained about with the public defender agency. Two public defenders were clearly working against me, making nasty comments, telling their supervisor lies about me and events, excusified to cover their asses when the shit hit the fan after the engineered wrongful arrest. One of them tried to diagnose me and manipulate a particular mental health diagnosis because drunk lawyers can do anything, everything and are always right. There is documentation of this in the emails, so it must have been much worse since these are the ones they let me have. I had some misconceptions about some events and a couple people which I will be clarifying later. Hearings were held without my knowledge, documents were filed without my knowing they even existed and negotiations went on without my knowing or consenting. There was some ex parte action that none of them told me about which combined with their not telling me about hearings shows corruption and conspiracy. Just as people in Nome said, they allow no input from the client, the public pretenders and prosecutor decide your fate and make it happen, truth be damned. The defendant has no input and if you dare to cross them you will be punished. I was, but I am still complaining about it and still standing. As I write about this information I am going to send it to the DOJ.

The information essentially proves what I was saying about them. I have a nasty comment from a lawyer that put together my pathetic “appeals”, his attitude most likely came from their gossip and demonizing of me which is present in the emails. I am assuming this demonizing also went out in emails and phone calls to people at other agencies who then helped with sabotaging. This is mobbing in a huge way, government mobbing. Is that why I did not get all of the emails? My failure to get a trial was planned and orchestrated on many levels. It appears they also only gave the appeals lawyer part of the information he needed because the Public Defender Agency was the problem that should have been addressed in the appeal along with Judge Ex Parte Esch and Mr. Malfeasance, John Earthman. The wrongful arrest happened within days of an appeal being filed, what a coincidence. What the appeal lawyer did get contained false information that they knew about before giving it to him. False information is used as if it is valuable truth in the justice system of Alaska because the goal is not justice, the goal is the outcome those in control want.

There have been some events lately that are related to the Homestead Lodge B & B where the psychopaths lied to police to get me wrongfully arrested clearly with the assistance of malfeasant DA Earthman, PD Brooke Browning Alowa and Judge Ex Parte Esch, there has been new information about some of these players, Norton Sound Health Corporation and Nome. I have new information about one of the so called expert witnesses which shows I was telling the truth about him which is quite entertaining, at least for me. The other expert witness still has his license removed and the board of licensing in Washington says it’s strange because his name appears in the data, but it looks like he never had a license. He no longer claims on his website to be an expert on Aspergers, perhaps because that diagnosis has been retired and put on the autism spectrum or could it he is no longer perpetrating the fraud that he is a mental health professional. Yea, it’s that bad that they would be so embarrassed they would try to remove his history from the database.

I have done a great deal of research on my health issues and the most likely cause of the ME/CFS in my case and I am pissed, drug companies are involved and are of course covering it up. They have even have manipulated medical schools into keeping what I believe is the cause,  DES from their curriculum while there are millions who were affected by it. My research provides insight into what happened with the meltdown in Nome as well. Researching DES has been an eye opening experience. Researchers publish results of affects of DES and the drug companies engineer their own research to disprove it. ME/CFS is extremely complex and even though the government has blocked much of the research we are finally starting to get some information. In the near future I will discuss all of this.  

ABDELRAHMAN ZEITOUN, KATRINA HERO, ONE OF MANY WRONGFULLY IMPRISONED DURING KATRINA

Abdulrahman Zeitoun, a man who has won the Kahlil Gibran Spirit of Humanity Award, was arrested for looting and accused of being a terrorist against no evidence from his home in New Orleans a few days after Katrina. There were many wrongfully arrested in New Orleans during this period of time, they call it-doing Katrina time.  This man is a Syrian immigrant married to a woman born in the United States. They own a business and are very well known in the community. He is a very hard working and honorable man. He had stayed behind while his wife and children left during the storm because his family owned a business and had several properties. He wanted to fix roof leaks and other problems as they occurred to decrease the damage, especially with regard to their home. He is very stubborn and could not be convinced to leave New Orleans during Katrina.
When he was wrongfully imprisoned they would not allow him to call his wife for three weeks and then they allowed him only one call, the only number he had for his wife was a cell phone which was not allowed. He was taken to a makeshift prison made at the bus station known as the Greyhound Prison. Cages were erected like the ones at Abu Ghraib. Now, remember they did not bring help to the people stuck in New Orleans without food, water, or health care, but FEMA brought in tons of supplies to build a temporary prison at the bus station. The priority was to form a police state, helping people was low on the agenda. He observed the staff spraying pepper spray on inmates frequently including a developmentally disabled man who was not able to comply with their commands. They had to sleep on the ground. He had something in his foot and it was infected, he could get no medical help and finally dug it out of his foot with a shard of glass. They were fed pork which Zeitoun and his friend could not eat because they are Muslim. Zeitoun had a canoe and had paddled around helping people who were left in New Orleans, in fact he was gleeful and proud that he was able to help people. He also was taking care of four dogs left to starve and die of thirst in the homes of two of his neighbors. Zeitoun felt it was God's will that he was there to help. He would not leave when his wife asked him to.
When arrested the doors of his home were not locked, so their home was looted. He had moved anything of value upstairs so much of it was salvageable. He asked them to make sure the dogs were taken care of and they lied and said they would. When he was released from prison he found them all dead from starvation and thirst. No one told his wife where he was. He was not sure what was going on or really why he was arrested. He was denied medical care. The prison guards were abusive, lied to him, and did everything they could to block his civil rights. No lawyer was provided. He had actually been arrested by makeshift personnel by FEMA, so the prison staff decided the regular prison rules and procedures did not apply, even after being removed from the cages and taken to a prison facility. He begged everyone to call his wife, constantly. This is typical, prison staff constantly formulate illogical reasons to deny civil rights, including lies.

This is very similar to my story. I have come to find out the process of abuse and injustice is actually very similar everywhere. This is how I know the problems with our prisons and justice system are not just incompetence, it was planned.

When Dave Egger’s book, Zeitoun was first published I was very interested in reading it. Realizing the similarities with my story I was afraid it would trigger my PTSD, so I waited knowing I would eventually read it. Like myself the Zeitouns had already been traumatized before the wrongful imprisonment. As the anniversary of Katrina approached I decided I was ready for this story and decided to listen to the audiobook rather than read it. The story was so interesting and so well written that I listened to it in just two days. As Zeitoun was arrested and as the abuse from prison staff and the justice system occurred I knew from my own experiences that they were about to happen, such as no medical care for his injured foot and lies about the phones. There are some abuses that are SOP throughout the country. In Alaska they let inmates use the phones, but they only work in the immediate area. Fees for long distance calls are high. They will not help the inmates figure out how to call people where they were taken from. I eventually had a bail hearing on the phone, but could not contact anyone for a long time to ask them to pay it so I could leave. The public defender agency knew the people I was trying to contact and simply left me in limbo for a long period of time. Ask yourself this, if they were on my side why would they do that? Zeitoun got out of the prison in less than a month because his family had the means to hire a good attorney. His friends who were arrested at the same time had public defenders and one of them ended up imprisoned for a year. One of them had about ten thousand dollars with him when he was arrested and the FEMA staff stole the money. The public defenders are not on the side of the defendants because of the way the system is set up, no one is. Once incarcerated you have no access to your bank account, so even if you have the bail money, unless you arrived with cash to prison or jail you can’t pay it without help from someone. This helps keep people who have been given bail in the prison longer, insuring job security for correctional staff and profits for private prisons and partially-private prisons(where the prison hires private prison companies to build prisons, supply laundry, commissary, food, and other essential needs). Never think that because a prison is not private that the policies and procedures aren't driven by the prison corporations, they are. Our legislators allowed this to happen all over the country.

EMAIL SENT TO SARAH PALIN 8/4/2008 ON ANNIVERSARY OF WRONGFUL ARREST

Below is an email I sent to Sarah Palin in August of 2008 on the anniversary of my wrongful arrest. I included some information about the 6th, 8th and 9th amendments because by then I was pretty sure she had never heard of them. This was about the time I had figured out she was not a real governor and could care less about the people of Alaska.

Sixth Amendment: In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial(denied), by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed(prevented by lies which came from the public defender agency), which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation(no real evidence was produced for the charges, common practice in Nome); to be confronted with the witnesses against him(two perjurers called serial bullies); to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor(not allowed by public defender agency), and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense(there was no assistance).


Ninth Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

(The state of Alaska violates the constitution to harm citizens and aids the criminal element in this state. The criminal element includes many of the legislators, commissioners and directors of departments.)

Eighth Amendment: Excessive bail shall not be required(they knew I would not have what was imposed as I am on disability), nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted(this has been imposed on many levels).



Governor Palin,

Exactly one year ago within minutes I was wrongfully arrested and then taken on a journey of terror through four different jails/prisons in this state as I was promised all along the way I was going to Nome for a hearing. This was all after ADA Earthman and Judge Esch scheduled a hearing I was not informed of and the public defender agency not only did not inform me of, but did not go to themselves. The warrant was issued against an email I had sent to Trooper Derek Loop, one among many I had sent him about the activities at the horrible place I was living at. It described how I was holding my last months rent due to having had to pay utilities(included in rent), having money conned and stolen from me by the owner, and much more. This email in no way shape or form implicates me in this stolen money nor anything else. Pursuant to the landlord tenant act citizens have a right to due process when their landlords do not provide a tenable situation.(no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause...),The man had stolen my wallet several weeks prior to this, but when I called the state troopers they said they would not investigate. Nor did they do anything when I reported theft, vandalism, meth being cooked, danger to myself or to the four year old child living there.

The owners were pulling an insurance scam and had ignored my complaints, emails and phone calls that the other two tenants were stealing his furniture, etc. After I gave them the notice one of them shortly became upset and would not tell me why. He then said he had $700 taken from his wallet the next day. The first person accused was someone I believe was in jail at that time. Interesting they claimed he had left a note in the lodge. One of the owners is a con man, he also cons the other brother. I am %100 sure he took the money from his brother's wallet and I was sure of it from the start. Some people believe the whole thing was an act. The reason I think he did it is he steals everything he gets his hands on. His best friend told me he stole money from his wallet and most of his things from his storage unit. Everyone knew I stayed there most of the time and had him convinced I slept all day to keep him from stealing my things.

The night I was arrested officer Loop took pictures of everything in my room. The state troopers have apparently destroyed them so I can not use them in court. They were asked for them over a period of several months and refused to give them to me. Now they claim they are gone. They also refuse to charge the man who falsely accused me in a police report of taking his money with a crime. One of the troopers actually told me it was not against the law. I quoted him the statute. The state troopers are corrupt to the core. Officer Loop and the female officer who transported me from Kenai to Anchorage are exceptions. The DOJ(Svobodney) has told me they will not do anything about DA Earthman. I was arrested for retaliation. The judicial system is very corrupt and out of control, so nothing is being done about(Judge) Ben Esch. The director of the board of licensing for nursing(Nancy Sanders) told me a lie to harm my case. It goes on and on. The public defender agency did the opposite of defend me. It is too numerous to list here. The worst being to lie to me that I would have expert witnesses at my sentencing hearing and then I had none. When will you do something about Quinlan Steiner?

When I was originally accused of several crimes I did not commit and had a public defender who smelled of booze and had alcoholic lesions on her face no one did a thing.

You got rid of Monegan? But, you supported someone like Schmidt who is running a dangerous prison system where the corrections officers psychologically torture inmates, deny them basic hygiene and deny the most basic of health care. It is truly something I could have never imagined in my life. My medication was withheld and I am just now getting over that. The phones go almost nowhere in the jails, making it impossible to get someone to post bail.

I have not gotten so much as an apology, except from one public defender who shall remain unnamed to prevent retaliation against this person. What I do get is several government agencies playing games, putting me off, accusing me of all kinds of crap when I try to talk with them. Hell even one of your aids told me the department of law said they could not talk with me. Sounds more like a dictatorship than a democracy to me.

The public defender agency on every level, the state troopers, DA Earthman and Judge Esch all knew Robin Hume would steal my things and starve my beloved cat, Misbehavin. They allowed it to happen. WHY? How can so many levels of government plot together to be so cruel and unjust? The only explanation is they were told to do what they did by someone from the top. Otherwise it just makes no sense at all. (...without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use...).

If even one of these agencies had done their jobs or you had listened to my complaints in the beginning most of this would not have happened. Clearly advancing your career is more important than justice, health, and safety of the people. It remains that I am most angry about them allowing my cat to be tortured and starved. This is America. You had no right.

This email got this auto-response: Thank you for writing to Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The concerns, opinions, and/or information you have sent are important and valuable to the Governor. Although she is unable to respond to each and every email herself, your message has been received and is being reviewed by the appropriate staff person in this office who can best address your need suggestion, or comment. At the point I had written this email I knew I was not going to get that response from the "appropriate staff person".  Sarah Palin was clearly oblivious to the concerns of the people in Alaska.


At this time I did not know that Joe Schmidt, the director of the department of corrections was her classmate and most probably former lover. I really knew very little about her like so many others. I could not conceive of a governor whose real agenda was to infiltrate the government by putting people in key positions to advance her creepy dominionist agenda. Even though she has resigned we are living with this burden. Hell, one of them is our new governor. I followed up the email with one of many phone calls to remind her aids that I will never stop telling my story, the judicial abuse of the native people in Nome, or the conditions in the prisons. Of course I have to remember how busy Sarah Palin was during this period, it takes so much time and energy to coordinate lies and cover-ups. She must have been exhausted from all that vindictiveness she is well known for. How selfish of me to think a governor should take busy time out of her day to investigate my complaints of corruption and abuse, she was busy reading all those magazines, "all of them, any of them that have been in front of" her "all these years", don't you know.

To this date no charges have been filed against Robin Hume or Steve Hume for animal cruelty, giving false information to law enforcement, or theft. Every attempt to file a report at the Anchor Point state trooper station was blocked. They played games, destroyed evidence, did not do their jobs, lied, threatened to arrest me again when I pushed the issue, and the supervisor of the trooper who told me it was not against the law to give false information to law enforcement called me a liar when I told him about it. I explained to him all of the phone calls at his station were recorded and all he had to do was listen to it. Judge Esch is still sending large numbers of native people to prison from Nome and almost no white people. ADA Earthman is still prosecuting, probably often without evidence because he simply does what the powers that be in Nome tell him to do. He should have been charged with using his position to maliciously prosecute me. The ACLU continues to not be interested in my case, nor apparently anyone else’s.
