PSYCHOPATHS ARE PRONE TO QUITTING BECAUSE, “When the psychopath is done with you, they leave, they’ve never had a bond with you, it’s all been a game.”

There actually are other reasons they quit, they get bored easily and are irresponsible.
Dr. Hare describes psychopaths as "intraspecies predators” and states there are 2 million psychopaths in North America, about the same as the number of schizophrenics.

The most annoying and dangerous psychopath in Alaska has declined to run for president to the relief those with I.Q.s above 80, but what about the other psychopaths running for president? What about the annoying yapping that will continue to come out of Sarah Palin’s “unshackled” gobhole through this whole election campaign? If there is one thing I can’t stand about a psychopath it’s that they can‘t STFU. Their spewing of crazy mixed up words that make no sense because they are trying to BS as if they have some kind of expertise when they are clueless. They do that wordsalad talk because they have no emotional connection to any of the words they are saying. They keep contradicting themselves while talking because they are constantly lying. "Though psychopaths may talk a lot they are not necessarily skilled wordsmiths.“ Driven to Lead by Paul Lawrence, pg 75.

These trailers are from the film Fishead and in no way demonstrate how amazing this documentary is. I strongly suggest following the link and watching the whole thing. They start by describing what psychopaths are and their role in the problems we have in our country. They then go on to discuss how the dampening of emotions by drugs are keeping many people from taking action about the problems of our society and contributing to their own antisocial behavior. This explains a lot, such as when the psychopathic workplace bully goes after the best workers while the drugged co-workers sit by and say nothing. They then become depressed and end up on antidepressants or perhaps sedatives. The bullied worker then ends up with PTSD and ends up on drugs too. Of course many are taking numbing medications to deal with the “psychopathic conditions” we have in our country right now. Half way through the movie the question of why the rest of us are not doing anything about this is discussed. A solution is presented.

Please note GWB and Dick Cheney are represented in their pictures of psychopaths in the movie. It is worth watching just to see that.

This movie describes what I have been saying about workplace bullies, including CEOs, many of them are psychopaths. I have gotten a lot of crap from people for this. (_!_) kiss it.

Thank you for this post. How I wish everyone could see the movie and really get the importance of it.

I knew that Sarah Palin is a sociopath/psychopath in 2008--from observation. She behaved just like one that targeted me.

They actually do many things similarly to their type. One way you know that you are dealing with one is when you describe their outrageous behvavior to someone else and that person asks incredulously, But, who would DO such a thing?

Once you've been a victim, if you're aware of it, you are inoculated, and are then able to protect yourself from future attacks.

Oh, these alien-like creatures have been very destructive.

Let's hope more citizens and workers catch on, get educated and reject their ploys.

Impressive minds behind this movie. Thanks so much. Sarah's response to the Tucson shootings clearly demonstrated that she fits the definition of corporate psychopath...that and quitting.

Good post - everyone should also read "Snakes in Suits," which Dr. Hare co-authored. Although the book is primarily about psychopaths in the work place, I kept thinking Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin as I read it. It completely explains all the puzzling questions about her behavior, including her oddly scripted, shallow and repeated use of the same empty catch phrases. While psychopaths are good at glib, on the fly explanations, they are not necessarily skilled at more detailed and deep communication.

They also have a propensity for giving conflicting stories about their motivations, with the deluded confidence that no one will dare question them.

And the core identifier of a psycopath: an utter inability to feel empathy. I will never forget Sarah Palin's refusal to state that twenty years would indeed be too harsh a sentence for the young man that hacked her email.

The media, of course, needs to be held accountable for refusing to call this woman for the psychopath she is. The reckless fools actually tried to help her win the GOP nomination!

@crystalwolflady: I went back to view it again and was not asked for a password, weird. I don't know what is going on. Have you tried to sign in again?

@ Not What You Want To Hear:
I've got "Snakes in Suits" and will soon be reading it. As a former target of workplace bullying I have been researching workplace psychopaths for years and am dying to read this book. It looks like you also have an interest in this subject. The more I learn about the nuances of the diagnosis the more sure I am about her. I am also wondering if Sarah and Todd are a team of psychopaths, but we don't have as much info about Todd. They certainly function much like two serial bullies who work as a team. He has done some antisocial behaviors, but I need more info to know what that means.

Thank you, Celia. My 27 year old son is currently in a PA jail, and you have described him perfectly. He has had a myriad of diagnoses in the past 10 years...
