UPDATE: Ed Schultze: "The Ideological Fight for America is Officially On"

UPDATE: The video of Ed Schultz I posted here in 2010 has disappeared. At first I thought it was from Newsbud, then looked at the code, it's from MSNBC. They treated him like crap, so no surprise. He had the courage to tell the truth and fight for the freedom to speak his mind. He died last summer, I've missed him ever since then.

First they took down the unions, then Wall Street engineering took the retirement savings of many, then they decreased our earning ability, then they replaced good paying jobs with poor paying jobs, then they engineered the taking of the homes of a large number of Americans along with the equities they were accumulating for retirement, now they are coming after Social Security and Medicare. It is time to start massive protests. It is time to draw a line in the sand. Now Obama has decided to cave on the Bush Tax Cuts. The rich need to start paying their damn taxes. Social Security is not part of the deficit, but they have launched a campaign to convince the American public that it is. The deficit was caused by wars that should have never happened and Wall Street. Why does the American public have to pay for the mistakes of the wealthy elite?

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said the panel chairmen “just told working Americans to ‘drop dead.’” In an e-mailed statement, Trumka said, “The very people who want to slash Social Security and Medicare spent this week clamoring for more unpaid Bush tax cuts for millionaires.”
