Links to Some of My Research Done Over Three Days Since Trump Had Qasem Soleimani Assassinated. I Do Not Support This Assassination, Occupation of Iraq or War With Iran.

Jamal Abdi, president of the National Iranian American Council asks a very good question, why take out Qasem Soleimani to prevent strikes against Americans by doing something that causes strikes?

Trump now tweets threats, what kind of president not only tweets threats to other countries but also sends messages to congress using the platform?

A Dubious Official Story Masks the True Motives Behind the Soleimani Assassination

...the U.S. had already responded to the death of the contractor, launching five different attacks in Iraq and Syria in late December, killing an estimated 25 and motivating Iraqi protesters to storm the U.S. embassy in Baghdad as many of those killed by those airstrikes were Iraqis. The subsequent airstrike that killed Soleimani seems like overkill for the official justification of avenging the death of one American.

***

The United States claims that the assassination was also intended to act as a “deterrent” against potential, future Iranian attacks, yet it is hard to justify the murder of a top general of a foreign power on foreign soil as a preemptive and preventative measure as opposed to one that would invite escalation. This is particularly true given that those that have most often sought an escalation in tensions between Iran and the U.S. and its Middle Eastern allies do not live in Tehran and Baghdad, but instead in Washington D.C. and Tel Aviv.

A New Year and a New Trump Foreign Policy Blunder in Iraq

Ambassador Stuart Jones said in December 2014, “Let’s face it, Iran is an important neighbor to Iraq. There has to be cooperation between Iran and Iraq. The Iranians are talking to the Iraqi security forces and we’re talking to Iraqi security forces… We’re relying on them to do the deconfliction.”

U.S. officials and corporate media are falsely painting Kata’ib Hezbollah and the PMUs as independent, renegade Iranian-backed militias in Iraq, but they are really an official part of the Iraq security forces. As a statement from the Iraqi prime minister’s office made clear, the U.S. airstrikes were an “American attack on the Iraqi armed forces.” And these were not just any Iraqi military forces, but forces that have borne the brunt of some of the fiercest fighting against the Islamic State.

Open hostility between U.S. forces and Kata’ib Hezbollah began six months ago, when the U.S. allowed Israel to use U.S. bases in Iraq and/or Syria to launch drone strikes against Kata’ib Hezbollah and other PMU forces in Iraq. There are conflicting reports on exactly where the Israeli drones were launched from, but the U.S. had effective control of Iraqi airspace and was clearly complicit in the drone strikes. This led to a campaign by Shia cleric/politician Muqtada al-Sadr and other anti-occupation parties and politicians in the Iraqi National Assembly to once again call for the expulsion of U.S. forces from Iraq, as they successfully did in 2011, and the U.S. was forced to accept new restrictions on its use of Iraqi airspace.
******
...if Kata’ib Hezbollah is indeed responsible for the rocket and mortar attacks, this is probably exactly the chain of events they intended to provoke...Incensed at the Trump administration’s blatant disregard for Iraqi sovereignty and worried about Iraq being dragged into a U.S. proxy war with Iran that will spiral out of control, a broad swath of Iraqi political leaders are now calling for a withdrawal of U.S. troops.

They want the US out of Iraq and the middle east. They have already been put through hell by this country and left a legacy of destroyed cities, destroyed infrastructure, depleted uranium birth defects, trauma, they have had enough.  The authors go on to explain the people of Iraq are rising up and forcing the government to change and work for them. Prime Minister Abdul-Mahdi has resigned pending election. Many Iraqis have died in the protests. The people are pissed at the corrupt government the US put in place and that the oil profits were not used to rebuild their country. They explain Trump has screwed up big time, listening to his swampy advisors.

Hassan Nasrallah is secretary General of the Lebanese political and paramilitary party Hezbollah. This speech contains a lot of information.

Summary of translator notes of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s speech marking martyrdom of Hajj Qasim Soleimani & Abu Mahdi al-Muhandi

This is a rough translation with paraphrasing, but it is easy to see it was a very moving speech by an obviously very intelligent man, Hassan Nasrallah secretary General of the Lebanese political and paramilitary party Hezbollah. He's Lebanese. There is a lot of info in this speech which is why I posted it. The countries around Iraq and Iran are now going to organize to fight the occupying forces of the United States, he says they are not going after regular Americans, just military. He explains a lot of what has been going on and that the US has been trying to assassinate Qasem Soleimani behind the scenes. Other sources say Israel has been doing the same. He also claims since they were not successful the assassination was done out in the open and says the assassination is about the election. Of course just like everyone else he thinks Trump is an idiot.

Ummah means community, in this case the Islamic community.

"We know who did the crime, and they must be punished.
It is well known who Hajj Qasim is

Qasim Soleimani is not an Iranian issue. It concerns the whole resistance and the whole Ummah

If the Iranians wish to respond fine..but this does not remove the responsibility of the resistance factions.

The factions are not tools of Iran.."

So what is a just penalty?

There is no US personality that equals Qasim Soleimani in value

Soleimani’s shoes are more valuable than Trump’s head and the whole US administration

The just penalty: the US military presence in our region

US military bases…

US military ships…

Every US officer and soldier in our region

The US army killed these men, and they will pay the price

We dont mean the American people and citizens – there are many in our region – we dont mean them. They must not be touched, otherwise this would serve Trump’s policies.

The just penalty equals the US army, the occupiers, the criminals

This is my opinion"'

What is Trump afraid of? Perhaps the truth.

Trump Administration Blocks Iran’s Top Diplomat From Addressing the U.N. Security Council

I wish the United States would just pack up and move out so no one else is harmed. Let the Iraqis have Iraq, let the Iranians have Iran, their countries belong to them, not American corporations. Let the neocons and radical right wing Israelis fuck off. I also wish for the US military, Iraqi or Iranian personnel to not be harmed. It will be on Trump and his handlers in Intel and the military, or his swamp creatures and most likely Israel for every person harmed in this dangerous insanity. I do not support what Trump has done. I do not support war with Iran or anyone in the middle east. Leave them the hell alone. Leave me alone too, this is supposed to be a democracy, but you destroyed my life in an attempt to shut me up through your cointelpro, Phoenix op in America, sick, sick narcissistic abuse of good people.

Please Donald Trump resign so the people of this country can actually make our country great. The road to greatness is not in harming others or taking their resources, it is not in being lead by psychopaths. Let's please have some adults in charge for a change.

This is the kind of person who needs to lead this country. Bernie Sanders. Vote for him, stop watching corporate news, listen to what Bernie says. Don't let the DNC keep him from winning the primary, stop listening to the craziness on the right with the red baiting. Try to have some logical thoughts in this country of propaganda streams by doing your own research. Read books and articles written by dedicated, intelligent researchers, watch some videos from people who have knowledge on the matters at hand and no corporate agenda.
