ANYTIME SOMEONE WANTS TO BURN A BOOK I JUST HAVE TO READ IT.UPDATE X2

UPDATE 1: Right after I posted this there was news that Terry Jones is canceling his plans for the Quran burning stating Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is willing to discuss relocation of the Muslim center and Mosque near 9/11 ground zero.

UPDATE 2: Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf says Terry Jones' statement that the Muslim Center/Mosque is being moved in false. He only agreed to meet with and talk to Jones on Saturday and has not even talked to him.

When I lived for a short time in Alamagordo New Mexico I was still a Christian and ended up at a “christian’ church. On night shift in the small third world type ICU in Deming New Mexico we put one of the televisions on CNN with the sound off so we could read the scroll at the bottom without waking up the patients. I saw the pastor of the church I had gone to in Alamagordo had organized a book burning of Harry Potter books. I whispered to a coworker who had formerly been a nun that he had lost his mind.

Now we have an idiot in Florida who plans to burn Qurans on 9/11. The morons at the Westboro Baptist Church, the most hate filled family in the United States say if Terry Jones doesn’t burn the Quran as scheduled they will. He makes false claims against Islam. He is clearly a hate filled dolt who can’t even pronounce the word Muslim, he calls them “Moslems”. “We expect the Moslims that are here in America ah to ah respect, honor, obey, submit ( is this a wedding ceremony?) to our Constitution.” You mean like this part of it?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…

I guess Terry Jones doesn’t feel compelled to “respect, honor, obey, or submit” to the constitution himself. Nor does he listen to what anyone else has to say about his plans to disrespect another religion. Hillary Clinton, President Obama, General Petraeus, the FBI and many others have asked him to stop this idiotic plan which is clearly designed to bring attention to himself.

He also has no understanding of Jesus. “Ah, if you look at Jesus’ life ah most of the time Jesus was as people imagine him. Ah, he was very nice and very patient and very loving. But, there was also times that Jesus did radical things. So, I think Jesus would not run around burning books, but I think he would burn this one.“

What the hell does that mean?

My protest against the burning of the Quran is to read it and share it.
